![]() ![]() ![]() This week, as a final attempt, I went into Device Manager under Universal Serial Bus Controllers and clicked on the unknown device. I gave up and turned of my PC for the weekend. At this point, it seemed the board and driver were only half working. ![]() The Device Manager, however, indicated an "unknown device" under Universal Serial Bus Controllers. The board was recognized as a JLINK CDC UART Port(COM8) in Device Manager. We unplugged the board from the Intel PC and reconnected it to the usb port on my AMD64 based PC. I was not sitting in front of the PC, so not sure what the display indicated. A driver was automatically searched for and found and the board was recognized.Īt this point the PC noted that firmware needed to be installed and downloaded firmware to the board. This PC had no Atmel Studio or xplained board drivers previously installed. After much struggling, I had a coworker plug the SAM4SXPLAINED board (the board) into the usb port on his Intel based PC. ![]()
